Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate performs the unloading, loading, warehousing and staging of material, in order to provide high quality customer service and accuracy.


Job Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and pallet jack
• Receive and warehouse incoming products into racks and floor locations
• Unload inbound freight/load outbound freight
• Complete all necessary paperwork in an accurate manner
• Responsible for shipping and receiving functions
• Responsible for overseeing warehouse layouts
• Responsible for establishing operational procedures for activities such as verifications of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials
• Responsible for physical condition of warehouse and equipment
• Responsible for preparing and maintaining all warehouse reporting and compliance to budgets
• Responsible for compliance to all safety standards, policies, and for maintaining good housekeeping practices to achieve a safe and productive work environment
• Ensure inside inventory storage is organized and clean
• Continually finding ways to improve department
• Assist with inventory control checks
• Any other necessary items directed by the Warehouse Manager

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year experience in a warehouse
• High school education or equivalent
• Ability to operate a forklift with lifting capacity up to 30,000lbs
• Ability to perform basic math skills accurately
• Ability to read and write, follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Basic computer skills
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
