Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A licensed Physical Therapist is needed to provide full-time services across multiple K-12 schools in the Research Triangle area, NC. This contract position covers approximately 5 to 9 schools within the district, supporting a caseload of 30-40 students of varying ages.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Physical Therapy services to students in elementary, middle, and high schools according to established bell schedules.
• Manage a caseload with varying needs, adapting to district requirements as they evolve.
• Coordinate with school personnel to support student progress and meet individualized education program goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state regulations.
• Travel regularly between assigned schools for required visits.

Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist license.
• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in a school setting is required.
• Ability to manage a caseload of diverse students with age ranges spanning elementary to high school.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work according to school hours and travel between multiple sites.

Location and Schedule:

• On-site position within schools in the Research Triangle, NC.
• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
• School bell times range approximately from 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM, varying by grade level.
• Contract duration from ASAP through June 10, 2026.
