Job Details Responsibilities:
As the Permanent Director of Design Build & Engineering, you will:
1. Direct and oversee all design-build projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with client requirements and company standards.
2. Lead a team of engineers and designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving.
3. Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the design-build process.
4. Work closely with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations and ensure they are met.
5. Review and approve all project designs and plans, ensuring they are technically sound and meet all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
6. Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the design-build team, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
7. Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in the construction industry, incorporating them into our design-build process as appropriate.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Director of Design Build & Engineering role will have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on design-build and engineering.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience with HVAC systems and related technologies.
3. Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing and motivating high-performing teams.
4. Strong technical skills, with the ability to review and approve complex design plans and blueprints.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and overcome challenges in the design-build process.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
7. A commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, with a proven track record of delivering projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
8. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification in a relevant field is a plus.
