Process Engineer | Hudsonville, MI

Salary Range: $67,000 - $101,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues related to process deviations or equipment performance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including SOPs, PFDs, and work instructions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis.
• Monitor key process parameters and analyze data to identify trends, predict failures, and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless product transfer and quality adherence.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Proven experience in process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in data analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and process modeling.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and relevant industry safety standards.
• Ability to design, implement, and validate process changes and new equipment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Familiarity with automation, robotics, or Industry 4.0 concepts
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
