• Maintain accurate cost data and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Compile and evaluate cost and expense information from various departments to support financial decision-making.
• Prepare detailed cost and margin reports while assisting in monthly and annual financial closings.
• Investigate variances between standard and actual costs to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide support for budgeting and forecasting processes, offering recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.
• Utilize activity-based costing (ABC) methods to enhance cost allocation and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that optimize inventory planning and expense management.
• Ensure adherence to organizational and industry-specific accounting guidelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing overall profitability.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Knowledge of standard cost accounting and activity-based costing (ABC) methodologies.
• Experience in inventory planning and financial reporting processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
