Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of commercial buildings for compliance with local, state, and federal codes.
  • Review request for, and issue, building permits.
  • Examine plans and specifications of new construction, additions, and alterations too residential and commercial buildings to determine compliance with the provisions of applicable city, state, and federal construction codes, ordinances, rules, and regulations.
  • Prepare clear, concise reports and communicate findings to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Stay current with building codes and industry best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in commercial building inspection or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of Florida Building Code and related regulations.
  • Florida Building Inspector / Plan Review certifications
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
