Hangover Smoothie!

Olivia and I strongly believe in healthy living with balance.  There are NO foods or drinks that are completely off limits.  It sounds cliche, but life really is too short to deprive yourself of tasty treats once in a while.  That goes for drinking as well.  We are 23-year-old recent college graduates.  Sometimes we like to go out and have fun!  And sometimes we have a little bit too much fun 🙂 Hey, it’s happened to everyone and NO ONE likes being hungover.  That’s why we created “Dempsey and Olivia’s Hangover Smoothie!”  All of the ingredients that are in this smoothie serve a purpose — to help you get back on your feet ASAP!  It’s delicious and packed with tons of vitamins and nutrients. (You don’t have to be hungover to drink it…Olivia had it for breakfast like 3 days in a row!)  Check out our video where we explain why our hangover smoothie works!

Ingredients: 

  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 peach
  • 1/4 cup yogurt (we used low fat Greek)
  • 2 tsp graded fresh ginger
  • 1/2 cup ice

Directions:

  • In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.
