Conventional wisdom is that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And that is right. Eating breakfast boosts your metabolism and prevents you from binging and/or overeating later in the day. It improves concentration and productivity and even helps support weight loss! One of my favorite breakfast options is a smoothie. Smoothies are quick and easy to make, which is great if you’re in a rush to get to school or work. They also taste amazing, are a great way to get nutrients, and fill you up! Here’s a recipe for my all-time favorite breakfast smoothie—The Green Power Smoothie.
- 2 Large Handfuls of Spinach and/or Kale
- 1 Banana
- 1 Apple
- 1 Cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
- ½ Cup Ice
- A sprinkle of cinnamon
- Toss all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth! Enjoy!
