Alison Sweeney never lets work get in the way of a good workout.
To say Alison is multi-talented is an understatement. She has been the longtime host of NBC’s life-altering reality series “The Biggest Loser,” is an accomplished actress, has co-starred on “Days of Our Lives” for more than 20 years and is also a burgeoning author.
So when at home and unwinding from a crazy schedule, Alison always finds the time to work out and stay in great shape. Whether that means performing stretches in front of the television or exercising in the backyard, Alison knows there are no barriers to living a healthy lifestyle.
She is the inaugural Fitness Five feature.

How do you manage a hectic schedule?
I do my best with the day I have and I always pack my running shoes and workout clothes before I leave the house in the morning because no matter what my day looks like, I can at least find time for a quick run.
What is your training philosophy or approach?
When I was training for the LA Marathon, it was important to follow a schedule. Now, I’m not training for anything other than being healthy so it’s important to just be active and to challenge my body in different ways.
