Avocado Tuna Salad



  • 1.5 oz canned tuna
  • ½ avocado
  • 1-2 tbs lemon juice
  • 2 tbs chopped red onion
  • 1 medium clove minced garlic
  • ¼ tsp chili powder
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • (Optional: ¼ tsp cayenne pepper)


  • Open tuna and drain water
  • Combine tuna, avocado, and lemon juice in a bowl and mash together using a fork (Tip: It will be a light green color)
  • Mix in lemon juice, red onion, garlic, chili powder, and salt & pepper
  • Add cayenne pepper for a little spice!
  • Serve as a sandwich, on a bed of lettuce, or eat alone
